How to Choose the Right RWD Shock

  1. Pick Your Harley Model: Touring, Dyna, Softail, or Sportster
  2. Select Your Shock Length:
    • 13” – Stock height, but with over 50% more travel
    • 13.5” – Slight lift over stock
    • 14” – Requires a +2 front kit; not compatible with full-length exhausts on Touring models
  3. Choose Your Spring Rate:
    • Standard – For solo riders under 300 lbs
    • Heavy-Duty – For solo riders over 300 lbs or frequent two-up riding

Not sure which to pick? If you’re around 270 lbs and your passenger is 200 lbs, think about how often you ride two-up:

  • Ride solo 90% of the time? Go with Standard.
  • Ride two-up 50% or more? Heavy-Duty is your best bet.
